UNESCO: Video Course

Creating a compelling video course that informs and inspires the next generation of leaders.

Between Pixels partnered with LIFE University and UNESCO to create the Compassionate Integrity Training (CIT) online training program. This course was designed to cultivate basic human values as skills for the purpose of increasing individual, social and environmental flourishing.

THE STRATEGY

Bringing The Scripts to Life

Faculty from LIFE University had partnered with UNESCO to develop the course material based on cutting edge research in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, trauma-informed care, peace and conflict studies, and contemplative science. Between Pixels was brought onboard to bring the academic scripts to life.

Our team collaborate with the UNESCO team as well as LIFE University faculty to cast the talent, develop the look and feel and deliver the final products. This project included the production of over 30 lessons that spanned various topics for the course.

In order to control cost and production time we proposed filming all hosting material on green screen in our studio with a teleprompter. Post production timelines were tight and this allowed us to stay on schedule, on budget AND ensure that we captured the best possible delivery for each script from our on-camera talent.

THE RESULTS

An Engaging Video Course

Our end product combined both green screen footage, b-roll, graphics and sound effects to create a compelling video course. Through the editing process we decided to leverage sound design in order to engage the viewer and bring the b-roll to life. This style served as a key component of the post production process and truly helped to engage through the medium of sound and video which really helped to connect the viewer to the message of each course segment.
